Morning Lovelies!
Another weekend gone in a flash and being busy this weekend made it go by even faster.
Friday night was Deadpool night and it was one of the funniest movies I've seen since...I don't even know when. Ryan Reynolds was perfect for the role and everything from the opening credits to the end cut scene had the theater rolling in laughter. Except for the four guys in our row that fell asleep, including one of my own but it was well worth it. Some say it was lacking action but as far as I'm concerned it really wasn't. The action scenes that were there were spectacular so I have no complaints. It definitely deserved the R rating and anyone that has seen it will look at holidays in a whole new way.
A WHOLE NEW WAY! Especially International Woman's Day.
The entire cast and the jokes at Marvels expense as well as Hugh Jackman were perfect and understood by any loyal Marvel fan.
I loved seeing Colossus but I have to say that one character they haven't shown enough is Gambit. Growing up with the comics he was one of my fav's and we got a brief glimpse of him in Wolverine but not enough of the Cajun.
Next up Batman vs. Superman next month and movies lined up until August so far.
And Ummmm...The Walking Dead??? There are no words for the episode except for FAN-TASTIC. Again I was screaming at my TV in shock and awe and the constant need to put Glenn in danger! Stop that we can't take it!
The thought that goes into the making of that show for our entertainment and seriously making us find the hidden meanings and treasures within each episode is mind boggling but so appreciated for all of the work the creators, cast and crew that bring it to us.
Changing directions now.
T is coming home this week so we've been getting ready for her homecoming. By getting ready I mean cleaning out the crap in her room that we dumped there because we didn't actually think she was coming home after she moved out, so boxes were packed and will be heading out to storage, cobwebs dusted...who am I kidding we don't dust the cobwebs. I'll Swiffer vac the ceiling every once in a while because everyone else is creeped out by them. It is really crazy though at how many cobweb spiders we have. I sucked up 23 one day from just the upstairs dark corners and yet there are always at least 2 I leave alone in the kitchen so they can eat the fruit flies because fruit flies are the most annoying tiny creatures next to ants, and they will attack...I've seen it.
It's pretty much been Spring cleaning around the house the past few weeks or... really all of this year so far with progress being made in slow strides because life happens in between it all. With so much to do and motivation being drained at every turn. There are not enough days in the week to get it all done, at least not in the Winter. The daylight is starting to grow longer now and the rain is ever prominent yet it's all a sign of better and brighter days ahead.
Once the RRSP season is over I can begin the Freelance Friday project that I've been working on and get back to writing since my characters have been on the back burner for the past little while as I work on some of my own issues. family, trusting things in front of me and being able say how I feel, fight and retain enough of myself to look past my own flaws without having a large impact on the people around me.
Anyway that last little blurb was unexpected but I told myself a long time ago that here I can say anything and if I wrote it felt it was relevant then I would keep it. My thoughts flow through my fingers as I type, I rarely backtrack or second guess what I write.
Still though I try to keep it light!
Well it's time to start this week and the next 2 weeks are going to be a stressful mess full people who I'm sure will annoy me at work and that could either lead to tears or a bath full of bubbles and a bottle of wine that I might not come out of.
So to all of the people in my life that I love so very much...be prepared it's going to be rough.
Have a great week!
See Ya

Weekend Wrap-Up
Hello Lovelies!
We are almost in the middle of Feb now and it's moving really fast. I'm thank full for that in some ways but not in others.
Thankful because it brings RRSP season to an end and brings T home with us next week, hopefully for good and in a much better place than she was. Bean is taking a shot at Carpentry ( oh god ) by building a rack for all of her snakes. Let's hope there are no hospital visits. Don't get me wrong I'm sure she'll manage after she loses her mind in frustration about 1000 times before she slips into that gear where is should all make sense. Her losing her mind is dangerous for those around her though so I hope she gets through a most of that before I get home from work.
My weekend was pretty good weather wise and on the home front. Friday I let loose a little...or a lot, entertained the household and felt it the next day. Sat there was some spring cleaning done outside and you don't realize how big things are ( yard and deck ) until all of the junk is gone, and a friend came in from Calgary for the shortest visit ever, 45 mins after driving all that way through snowy mountain passes to drop of a Harley for Choo. Sunday well...the Superbowl. Enough said.
Monday was Family Day here and it was B-E-A-uitful! Uncharacteristically warm, like t-shirt warm and even my roses are starting to grow new leaves. today it's supposed to hit 15 degrees downtown but it was pretty frosty this morning. Almost lost the little dog as he slide across the deck towards the stairs but he recovered.
My girl came home yesterday a 2001 Sportster and would you believe the men in my life gave me flack about not cleaning her right away? Look boys I will devote a day to cleaning and polishing her, I will be so meticulous that you'll want me to polish yours too so don't you worry your pretty little heads about it.
So that was my weekend and this coming weekend all I can think about is Deadpool and The Walking Dead. I'm so glad they are both almost here!
Alright gotta go!
Have a good week.
See Ya

Heart-wrenching and Heart Warming
Happy Monday!
Who am I kidding? I just can't get it together today but it is Monday so I'll conveniently blame that.
Warning...if you watch The Walking Dead and have not seen last night's episode there are spoilers below.
If you don't watch it...what is wrong with you!
Tough thing the Heart.
It takes so much abuse and is still the thing we have to contend with the most unless you have no conscience. Let's start with Heart-wrenching.
Well after having me scream at my TV last night while watching The Walking Dead I had to sit back down and say hmm... and then get told by Sese and Allan that read the comic books at 2 separate times that this had to happen. I don't know how many of you watch the show and have from the beginning but it is one of the most emotionally intense shows pretty much ever. I know there have been others but very few have that fully engaging aura that in a lot of cases makes you feel like you are actually there with them. I thought that when Hershel died it was tough and even Lori because it was such a sad sequence of events, Beth...ruined me too but Glenn... completely devastated me and felt so senseless at the same time! Nicholas really just finally succeeded in killing Glenn (maybe) by snapping and turning a gun on himself just to have his dead weight body fall on Glenn and tip him over the edge and even though in my heart of hearts I am still hoping that those intestines were not Glenn's being consumed... he would not have made it out of that horde.
As The Talking Dead pointed out something I would not have noticed until I re-watched all of the seasons was when Glenn was telling Rick his plan he called him "Dumbass" which was what he called him the first time he spoke to him in Season 1 when Rick was trapped in the tank.
Full circle? I hope not but none the less it could be.
I do have to say I'm glad it wasn't comic book Glen's death because I might have broken something. Now Glen wasn't the only thing about the episode that had me on the edge of my seat. Rick running for the RV and what happened in the RV was crazy and you could see crazy on Rick's face. Is it time for his hand? Is it? We'll see after he makes it out of the horde he's surrounded by because after Glen...Rick will make it. Now with that being said we have no concrete evidence that Glenn is dead and every part of me hopes he can miraculously make it out and back t a waiting Maggie who has had her father and her sister taken from her. Hmm...both of them were taken from her by people not Walkers when you think about it.
Can I say that I feel like Darryl is underused right now and at what point did Morgan break off from them and go back to Alexandria during the Wolves attack? Next weeks episode is 90 mins and we'll finally get to see what Morgan has been through.
I can only hope to be able to write things as powerful as some of the things I have seen in the past and now. That is a goal I strive to someday achieve.
Heart Warming time!
Ok so besides the shock of the week this past Sat we had Parker help out for his first Pumpkin Carving session or more for him his pumpkin colouring session. After I made sure his father stripped him down out of his brand new Spiderman PJ's, Peanut took a seat at the big table in the kitchen and eyed the 5 pumpkins in front of his big brown eyes he picked his pumpkin out and while Craig started the process of carving his pumpkin for him, P choose to colour mine instead and that was ok he's 2 1/2 so his way works and also funny as he tried to eat pumpkin guts and then put them back into my pumpkin while we were trying to get them out. Bean and Allan worked meticulously on theirs and Bean's turned out to be the most vicious looking one out of all of them. He was gross and sticky and it was awesome! Blondunicron held the speed record for carving as she was in, out and done in no time at all. So fun I was pleasantly tired afterwards!

Since mine was covered in Crayon it was carved later and placed with the rest but the gang did a good job!
I swear I'm going to get my costume post out before Halloween!
Have a great week!

I Almost Can't Control Myself!
courtesy of www.freepik.com
Hello Lovelies,
After my Just A Little Road Trip post I was surprised to have the "Are you OK?" questions considering it wasn't really about me but people I know that are going through tough times right now and I wish I could help them more. So far so good and I think they're turning a corner!
Well one of them is sure to be a corner that turns into a brick wall but sometimes you just can't fight that fucked up logic.
I'll have the band-aids ready though so I can rip them all off at the same time when they need to be.
So with that out of the way. How ya been? Did you have a good week? Awesome because it's October now officially and the parade of costumes and scary movies and days of celebration are headed our way. Bean is in super decorator mode...although she keeps talking about Christmas thus making me want to lock her in the closet with the Xmas decorations until Dec, because I know her and Nov 1 she'll have all things Halloween stripped and all the greens and reds and other holiday things will make it look like not only Santa threw up in our house but all the elves and reindeer too.
Oh...joy...and not to the world. Stop that train right there!
First up! Events I'm going to force my family to check out over the next few weeks!

OH Blondunicorn this is right up your alley!
An Evening with the Paranormal Society

There are so many more to come and return like Fright Night @ Playland and the Ghost Train as usual every year. Next week begins my parade of awful costumes and the prep for our 3rd Annual Halloween Party and many days of AMC's Fearfest, AHS, Supernatural and THE WALKING DEAD!
Ya I'm a tad excited.
OK off with you and have a great week and remember that if you have any suggestions or ideas to offer contact me and put me to work!

Let's Just Pretend That Didn't Happen.
Happy Ugh...
Hi Lovelies!
So...how ya doing? I hope your weekend was good.
I tried to do yard work and realized I just need to get rich and hire a gardener or move. We have a blackberry bush from hell in the yard which over the course of 5 years has taken over the skyline because it's MUCH taller than it is wide. Half on my property and half on the neighbours. Wait there is 2 of them one that along with Morning glory ( also from hell ) is choking the Walnut tree that I have never actually seen bare Walnuts. the other one has consumed the decrepit shed out back so that only one door shows and I swear a family of Raccoon's is living in it.
I did clean up the back yard a bit until it got to hot to be out there and I switched my gardening to the indoor variety until it got cooler. That led me into a Walking Dead Marathon of Season 5 before the premier of FEAR the Walking dead. WOOOOOOOO!
As usual it starts out as a typical Zombie flick where the outbreak has already started and we don't know how. With rare exceptions like 28 Days Later when they show you how it starts FEAR followed the same pattern as the not so rare. First half of the show...character introductions and establishing relationships a little long but the episode was an hour and a half long. After that, shit starts to get real. The character I've latched on to right now though is Nick and not because of that awful white chick shirt he was wearing but because I think he did a not so bad job. To me he looks kind of like a young Johnny Depp with a Christian Slater speech pattern. He was the most interesting character for me though. If you haven't seen it you'll see why when you watch it.
I watched and interview with Robert Kirkman saying that the walkers in this show will be like we've never seen them before and there are very noticeable differences in these ones unlike TWD Walkers and I wonder if it's because basically they are the ground zero infected and what happens over time to change the very prominent blue eyed walker?
Watch it and tell me what you think!
OK now it wouldn't be Monday without stupid dumb ass Monday like things so here was my Monday morning so far.
5:45 - Alarm goes off
6:00 - Actually get out of bed
6:02 - Take the dogs out, Chase California out from the front of the house, drag Whiskey back from the neighbours yard, Watch Smokey and the cat pee side by side.
6:10 - Find my clothes from the dryer on my bed and dig through them for god knows what to wear.
6:15 - Watch a video of bears swimming in a pool.
6:20 - Realize I haven't had a coffee yet and instead watch Jon Bon Jovi on Breakfast Television surprise fans with a concert that almost didn't happen. How Nice!
6:25 - Still didn't get my coffee.
6:30 - Face, teeth, Ugh...
6:40 - Kick dogs out of the bedroom, take 30 extra seconds get the little dog out.
6:41 - Oh look my coffee is undressed on the counter. Sugar. Check. Non Dairy Creamer. Check. Travel mug. check.
6:45 - Out the door to the bus stop.
6:55 - Bus late...hmmm.
The bus finally showed up and it was only a few minutes late. I get on and sit in my usual spot, put my feet up on the bar behind the bench of seats across from me, dig my book out and tuck my travel mug between my knees. Turn the page. Sip, after a few more pages I sip again each time putting the mug back between my knees until I feel something warm an wet traveling down my thighs.
Well what do you know...the travel mug is leaking.
Great...
Thank goodness I'm wearing dark grey pants. I change positions of the mug so that it's being braced by my forearm and the wall of the bus with my purse locking it into place it wasn't long until I feel liquid travelling down my arm and I have nothing to clean this up with but I'm confused because I only had half the mug filled when I started. Anyway now I'm sticky in more than one place and am hating this Monday already. So I go to McDonald's and grab a coffee that I can drink and it was free so what's better than that!
The cashier asked me if I wanted it in my travel mug. First thing out of my mouth "Hell No!"
Crap... Sorry lady.
Now the spot has dried and I'm paranoid about my pants as I have to walk along West Georgia. Looking at it you can't really tell but because I know it's there I can see it as clear as if there were flashing arrows pointing at me, but I just try to pretend it didn't happen.
Got to the office and attacked myself with a wet wipe and now my pants are wet again and I can't move until they dry. Maybe if I'm lucky the rest of the day will move smoothly and I'll be able to get work done on all fronts and then celebrate my youngest daughters 20th B'day tomorrow!
In the fetal position...crying.
Ok Guys!
Have a great week!

Heartbroken & Various Other Feelings
Hi Lovelies,
This is not some devastating romantic issue unless you count my love of The Walking Dead as a relationship of epic proportions...if you do then you'll need to know that AMC ripped our hearts out last night and it has cast an overshadow on my day that's one of sadness.
You know you're really into a show when you have residual feelings left behind no matter what they are!
I thought Hershel was bad and even Lori was hard to stomach from a mom's point of view but last night I cried and I mean actually cried...tears...and I don't cry for stuff like that ( unless you include the end of Terminator 2 when I balled like a baby ) and last night was tough. Watching the interview on The Talking Dead afterwards was just as awful especially the In Memorial portion of the show that says goodbye to beloved characters, walkers and bad guys alike that die on the show.
It's tough not to give you spoilers for those that haven't watched it yet but really, every social media outlet exploded last night in shock and Twitter was so crazy! I have to say that as a Fall finale I feel like I might have to wear black until February and come that time the wound will be ripped open all over again. Now with all of our favourite shows heading off on a break that leaves time to catch up on other shows that have been neglected or to prepare ourselves with the return of some in the new year like... Suits and Black Sails I saw repeated ads for Better Call Saul and as a Spin off of Breaking Bad I'll have to check it out and Justified will be back too. As the first 3 month block starts for the year.
Now another show that is going to tug on the heart strings is Sons Of Anarchy with only 2 episodes left of the show it's going to be hard but hopefully not crying hard, I can't do that again...geez...writing, acting and TV have come a long way haven't they?
So besides my obvious devastation the weekend was a blur and that must have been because of the snow which caused accidents EVERYWHERE! There were two between where we were shopping that we got caught in and a third that was cleared just before we made it home. This is what I woke up to and it wasn't even that bad, you...know because I was inside.

What's Touring Tony you ask?
I have no idea but when he gets here I'll let you know!
Have a great week!

Gasp! Awwww! RUN...And Fall Down!
Hi Lovelies!
OK for those of you that watch...
American Horror Story Freakshow
The Walking Dead
Sons Of Anarchy

If you have not watched the newest episodes then don't read any further!
With Thanksgiving behind us now up here the Fall has really set in. The changing of the leaves, the wet, windy weather forcing us inside into the comfort zone where we watch an MC let loose, Zombies decay in there quest for flesh and OF COURSE psychotic killer clowns that kidnap stupid people that don't know when to RUN...AWAY...just to fall down and get captured (because that's typical ) Why does the bad guy NEVER fall down in the chase? Is it because they're more focused on the target? Because the target is not as focused on getting away as they should be?
Anyway let's begin this week in review..sort of...
Sons Of Anarchy - That show makes keeps me grounded out of all three and not only because the other two are about zombies and UGH...clowns. There is a distinct feel of realism and the connecting of characters for me so at the end when Juice is ready to shoot Gemma I did what I normally do and screamed at my TV because...dare I say it...I Like Gemma! I mean come on, who wouldn't want a mom that would take people out to protect her own. Yes her morals are questionable but wouldn't you rather have her on your side? I'm glad Chibs is getting some action finally and the Tig/Venus connection is awesome and had me howling with laughter and Unser looks like he'll never die.
Still I hate when it ends each week then I'm counting the episodes until it's gone...forever...
AHSF - Since there has only been 1 episode I'm still trying to grasp how this season will do compared to the other past seasons. Seeing as we've already seen Murderous Clown Guy hovering about stealing what looks like a family. The creepy smile on his stupid clown face meant nothing as dumb girl had a conversation with him before he stabbed her date to death in front of her repeatedly and then commenced the running, falling and getting caught thing.
1) You're in a field...take your shoes off, use them as a weapon if you have to and run.
2) If said Clown is filthy, covered in grime and looks like he has someone else's skin on his head I would call that a red flag.
3) If you wake up and clown guy seems like he's having way too much fun murdering your date another red flag.
I have to say that the smallest woman in the world is the cutest thing EVER and she made up for the She must hate that. I can't help it though every time I see her I can't help but say Awwww... and the fact that I can only understand about every third word she says because of the pitch of her voice as well as her accent doesn't matter because she is the cutest thing. The show keeps me intrigued though and I must say that the Candy Striper chick must have wished she never went into the tent that day. Nothing will ever be the same for her but...do you blame her?
They have been renewed for a 5th season after the premier of the 4th! They can go anywhere with this show!
The Walking Dead - OMG OMG OMG the most anticipated premier for me.
1) It's the only one of the 3 that picked up from right where it left off even though Carl grows half a foot each season.
2) The gore of it all is a makeup artists dream.
I was shocked that Terminus got leveled so soon and after the way it started with my boys about to be bled out I'm glad that Super Carol showed up! I said to Blondunicorn that as far as kick ass women go Carol is second after Sarah Connor in my book. The shift in Rick though over the past couple of seasons I think has been more traumatic then anyone else's. You could see it happening and not like in the season finale when Carl was about to get raped and it's like you saw the switch get flipped in his eyes. You could see the panic surge in Glen as one by one the "cattle" got knocked off. That fight or flight mode was most definitely flight for Glen. The Darryl and Carol reunion was awesome!!!!!! Second only to the reunion of father, brother and lil Ass-kicker which almost made me cry...ALMOST. It was well worth the wait...
Eugene...you're useless and your mumbo jumbo sucked "fire with fire" but I like to laugh at your mullet.
but...still...
Where's Beth???
Congrats to The Walking Dead and The Talking Dead for breaking premier records!
Thank goodness Game Of Thrones isn't on at this time of the year, I wouldn't be able to contain myself.
Ok I'm done for now! Halloween approaches and a parade of costumes to follow!
Have a great week!

Fall Premiers, Fall Monsoons and Chicken Dogs!
Well...it's Monday and the Monsoon season as I call it has started here in the Greater Vancouver Area!
This is the time of year where you pretty much have to be a duck in order to survive the Fall months. For me though it just means that it's time to be more creative with my time spent indoors as well as my mindset.
Ok that and it's FALL PREMIER TIME!!! Oh ya I'm always excited for that...
There were a few last week like Gotham and I'm a huge Batman fan so I was excited to see where they are going to take this series because it's not actually focused on Batman himself but the eventually named Commissioner Gordon and seeing Ben Mackenzie go from shows like the OC and Southland means it might just make it, for a while anyway but I myself like the show so far and Jada Pinkette-Smith... I love that I can see her every week for a while.
We know how fickle though the audience and the networks can be and we could be blindsided by the cancellation of shows we thought were going to survive. You know what I'm waiting for...besides Sons of Anarchy that as of tomorrow we are almost 4 episodes into the last season and I'm a bit horrified and confused because I don't know what's going to happen, is American Horror Story Freakshow starting Oct 8 and The Walking Dead Oct 12.
Why do they put everything on Sundays? My PVR might throw up because there is so much going on. I'll miss you Ray Donovan your season finale last night opened the door for Revenge my guilty pleasure.
One thing I love about the 10-13 episode seasons is that they have to pack as must story, action or drama into each episode that it keeps you hooked and very few shows can do that. I still have my full season shows too that I love and sadly I've heard that this will be Supernaturals last season as well. On a recent website posting though I read that if the ratings hold then the show could go on!
That would make me very happy!
So...very...happy...
So as I look out at the rain, lots and lots of rain and hope that my basement doesn't flood because of a poor drainage problem out back. I picture my dogs acting like giant chickens that will melt if touched by rain ( especially the Terriers the pansies ) I can't wait to get home, dry off and be warm because anyone who's been here in BC at this time of the year knows that even with an umbrella we're getting soaked no matter what.
You guys that have to work outside are Superstars! I would hate it.
Ok back to my cave I go and hope that all of you everywhere are having a good Monday!
Next week and for the month of Oct it's will be the costume parade! Cute, weird, scary!! They'll be here.
Have a good week!

All Fun and Games Till Someone Loses an Eye!
Hello Lovelies!
Nobody lost an eye. At least not in real life.
So the week went without much let's see what happened...
...nothing until Sat. T, Peanut and Craig moved into their own little place not far from us and on moving day I got to watch him while they moved. Man can he move now! just turned a yr last week and it's like his tiny legs kicked in at the same time because all he did was walk, fall down, say uh oh and keep on truckin'. The kids did their move and after roughly 2 months of being with us they disappeard off into the night with their child...who I saw the next day as I went over to try and help them unpack.
This has prompted B, my little snake breeder in waiting to want a place of her own so she can...breed snakes! Which would be good because I'm in the process of trying to save on of the feeder rats because he's just too cute, All blonde and red eyed and super friendly. He's my Shy Guy but really like we need to add to the Zoo we have already have and small creatures in any form Mice, Hampsters, Guinea Pigs any of them are really a pain in the ass to take care of and they smell. So B let Paige take the Shy Guy and give him a lovely home sweet home!
I caught up on a couple of my shows!
Bitten...I love! The casting pretty much fit what I had in my head. Clay Danvers played by Greyston Holt, I have never enjoyed death by bicep as much as I did in the last episode. Laura Vandervoort fits Elena Michaels persona for me completely and I can't wait to see where they take it.
The Following...I'm pleasently confused that's all I can really say! It's like I missed something...or a few things and I'm peicing it back together.
Being Human... ( yes I love my dark fantasy shows ) Sally, Aiden, Josh and Nora each week make me laugh just by the chemistry between the characters and how natural they make their craziness seem.
Oh American Horror Story...your season Finale is this week and as sad as I am to see you and you crazy stabbed eye scenes that I couldn't even look at because I have eye issues, you bring me closer to the next new episode of The Walking Dead and the rotting corpses that are constantly trying to eat our merry band of survivors.
So besides that and trying to convince Salt to try something she might not want to the week has been pretty uneventful
