What Has Been Seen Cannot Be Unseen

Hello Lovelies!

I'm back after a nice long weekend, that I had forgotten was a long weekend and then was very happy it was one wishing it was much longer. I really have to win the lottery.

So let's get to it.

There are a couple of things up for today, the first of course being the Premiers of 3 of my favourite shows Supernatural, American Horror Story and come on now The Walking Dead.

Let's start with SN because the boys are back and although I had trouble tracking it a bit I was so happy they're back for another season and for something like the Mark of Cain to be such an important factor last season, how come everyone and their...um...baby has one now? It's one of those things that will obviously play out over the course of the season along with what I'm suspecting is going to be an unwanted attraction but really...who cares it's Sam and Dean. Crowley in a woman's body was very entertaining and Cas...poor Cas...someone just needs to save Cas.

AHS-Hotel I'm just going to say this...WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? Within the first 15 mins of the show  I had to read subtitles which I only like to do watching old kung fu movies, saw scenes that reminded me of The Shining, Seven, Saw and Tarantino's 4 Rooms except that wasn't a "whore under the bed" and it wasn't as funny, realized that Lady Gaga was not awful and all I can say is Drill Dick.

Now Bean and I were speculating a bit at who the wrapped up guy with the killer extremities could be and she's betting it's Evan Peters because in every season he has something to do with a scene where someone is being violated but we'll have to wait and see. Wes Bentley is creeping me out more than the creepy people in the show are and as all of the previous seasons are linked together somehow, this one will be linked to season 1's Murder House.

I had even posted on Facebook that the FX warning for this show should simply say..

"The following contains ANYTHING YOUR SICK MIND CAN THINK OF" Viewer discretion is advised because you can not unsee what happens next.

Because there is no way to unsee that! Any of it really because those were only the shocking moments. there are layers of insanity here and I along with others will watch it unravel.

TWD What...a...rush! The scale was so large you couldn't help but feel it looking over the expanse of Walkers which gave me goose bumps and I even uttered an "Oh hell no!" then and as Daryl emerged over the ridge with the herd behind him. Now was that a herd or a horde? Is there a difference?  How happy was I to have that bone deep anxiety for the group back?  I was so happy I watched it twice. Carol and Morgan will be fun to watch and every year Carl is like 6 inches taller kind of like the kid that plays Bruce Wayne in Gotham. That kid must have grown at least a foot in 3-4 months or just it looks that way. Glen being forgiving and Eugene kept the hair.

Fall has truly begun now Thanksgiving has passed for us here and I was just thinking that there is only about 2 1/2 months left until it's a new year again scares me a little.

Time flies right? Yes, yes when you're having fun blah blah because when you're not having fun time takes forever to go by doesn't it?

One the writing front I have a problem...I have a character that is quickly becoming more than the lead is herself and  I still want to tell the story but it seems that one story line is almost effortless to write where the other is a constant struggle. Although one has many more working parts than the other one does so, is it just the simplicity of it?

I don't know but it's doing my head in. Not like that means I'm changing anything.

Ok guys, thanks for the read and have a good week!

See Ya

I Almost Can't Control Myself!

Hello Lovelies,

After my Just A Little Road Trip post I was surprised to have the "Are you OK?" questions considering it wasn't really about me but people I know that are going through tough times right now and I wish I could help them more. So far so good and I think they're turning a corner!

Well one of them is sure to be a corner that turns into a brick wall but sometimes you just can't fight that fucked up logic.

I'll have the band-aids ready though so I can rip them all off at the same time when they need to be.

So with that out of the way. How ya been? Did you have a good week? Awesome because it's October now officially and the parade of costumes and scary movies and days of celebration are headed our way. Bean is in super decorator mode...although she keeps talking about Christmas thus making me want to lock her in the closet with the Xmas decorations until Dec, because I know her and Nov 1 she'll have all things Halloween stripped and all the greens and reds and other holiday things will make it look like not only Santa threw up in our house but all the elves and reindeer too.

Oh...joy...and not to the world. Stop that train right there!

First up! Events I'm going to force my family to check out over the next few weeks!

Random & Not So Random

Happy...Tuesday?

Oy! Well at least I'm here and it's St. Patrick's Day!

I'm kind of tired today, slept like CRAP but it's not Monday and that's a bonus so this blog post will be a combination of many things oh so random and mostly related to each other because Spring is almost here and that brings my attention to a varied combination of things like last night and the insane Monday programming block that I had to wade through.

Bates Motel is back and getting so very disturbing not only because of Norman's character but because Ryan Hurst (SOA) has hit the show and he's pretty creepy. Almost as creepy as Brat Pitt's character in Kalifornia but not quite as murderous...that I know of anyway. Norma Bates is always my favourite to watch though.

The Following has caught me and even without Joe, the show still has me hooked if not for the story it's the music that draws me in and thanks to Blondunicorn showing me the Shazam music app, I can find out who sings what very quickly. In this episode A Drowning by  Whoever thought up that put them in the box story line had my disturbed meter piqued!

Gotham...is repeating...so...you suck.

The Returned this one I tried to watch previously and as the trailer for the show never told you it was in French and subtitled and I didn't want to have to read my show every week, but now there is an English version and that has me caught very well. It's also disturbing...it should be called Disturbing TV Monday because everyone is crazy.

I also heard this morning that The Walking Dead Companion series is going to be filmed in Vancouver!!!! There might be stalking in order. It comes out in the summer to bridge the gap between the end of TWD season 5 and 6. Now spin offs don't always do well but we have seen many that have as long as they don't go too far but I'm very interested to see where this goes. I wonder if Chris Hardwick will have an after show for this one too?

Fan Expo is coming in a few weeks and I'm very excited for that! I'm not eve sure who's going to be there yet but I'm going and if I see a guy dressed as Renly Baratheon then I know it's the SHAW cable guy that I talked to on the phone about Fan Expo last year in a random conversation while he waited for his screen to load and help me with whatever it was I called for.

I do have to  mention that on Friday night I had to try the Crown Royal Apple Whiskey and it was very good. Smells like Green Apple Jolly Ranchers but tastes like apple pie not unlike the CR Maple Syrup flavoured whiskey that smells like maple goodness but tastes like pancakes in your mouth. You know if they can bacon infuse vodka can they bacon infuse the Maple Whiskey? that would be the breakfast of whiskey champions!

It's time to get out and about people! I see people already taking pictures of cherry blossoms and planning weekend camping trips. Spring cleaning and purging begins! Tourists have already started to arrive in the city, with rolling luggage...ugh, and a Husky that was found with gravel in it's stomach and so thin that it was all bones found a home and is fatter...much, much fatter. makes me smile.

Tomorrow is Weird News Wednesday and of all of the weird stuff I see there will be something even weirder that someone will send me. I'm a little scared because it's been awhile since I could focus on the weird shit so be prepared!

Ok guys go have a wonderful day and a great week!

See ya

Heartbroken & Various Other Feelings

Hi Lovelies,

This is not some devastating romantic issue unless you count my love of The Walking Dead as a relationship of epic proportions...if you do then you'll need to know that AMC ripped our hearts out last night and it has cast an overshadow on my day that's one of sadness.

You know you're really into a show when you have residual feelings left behind no matter what they are!

I thought  Hershel was bad and even Lori was hard to stomach from a mom's point of view but last night I cried and I mean actually cried...tears...and I don't cry for stuff like that ( unless you include the end of Terminator 2 when I balled like a baby ) and last night was tough. Watching the interview on The Talking Dead afterwards was just as awful especially the In Memorial portion of the show that says goodbye to beloved characters, walkers and bad guys alike that die on the show.

It's tough not to give you spoilers for those that haven't watched it yet but really, every social media outlet exploded last night in shock and Twitter was so crazy! I have to say that as a Fall finale I feel like I might have to wear black until February and come that time the wound will be ripped open all over again. Now with all of our favourite shows heading off on a break that leaves time to catch up on other shows that have been neglected or to prepare ourselves with the return of some in the new year like... Suits and Black Sails I saw repeated ads for Better Call Saul and as a Spin off of Breaking Bad I'll have to check it out and Justified will be back too. As the first 3 month block starts for the year.

Now another show that is going to tug on the heart strings is Sons Of Anarchy with only 2 episodes left of the show it's going to be hard but hopefully not crying hard, I can't do that again...geez...writing, acting and TV have come a long way haven't they?

So besides my obvious devastation the weekend was a blur and that must have been because of the snow which caused accidents EVERYWHERE! There were two between where we were shopping that we got caught in and a third that was cleared just before we made it home. This is what I woke up to and it wasn't even that bad, you...know because I was inside.

Ok guys it's time to go about our days in the best Monday fashion that we can and I hope there is plenty of laughter and interesting things. I'm going to count the days until Touring Tony shows up.

What's Touring Tony you ask?

I have no idea but when he gets here I'll let you know!

Have a great week!
See Ya
