Maybe The Crazy Is Real?

Hello Lovelies!

This Monday is a little bit relaxed as much as the week was. Things were quiet except in my head as usual but at least it wasn't a chaotic tornado of thoughts. They were all orderly with a problem and hopefully a solution. I say hopefully because I haven't actually tried to put the solutions into action yet to see if they will work.

I'm always thinking about a life change because I'm still in a place that I don't want to be and fantasizing ( which I do very well ) about where to go and how to get there. What I want to be doing and not doing has a constant place in my brain. I always do what I have to but not necessarily what I want to. Yesterday I did literally nothing, I could have... should have... but had no urge to. The house was practically empty so no riding, and with no one home to distract me, my thoughts were like tendrils of smoke twisting around each other and merging in some places while flying free in others. Maybe that was the point, to be left alone with my thoughts and try to wade through them.

None of it was bad or depressing, all of it had a level of impatience and yet patience at the same time. I'm not in a rush at all and yet I feel rushed to progress in so many things but there are boundaries and that keeps me solid and grounded in my mind most of the time. But there is order and no order at all, it's like I can't win but I'm not trying to or trying hard enough so maybe...just maybe the crazy is real.

That quiet crazy I've been told I have.

2 steps forward and 1 back right? Except that I'm not going backwards... some of it takes a courage that I have to build up to and I'm ok with that because the reward will be so much better for me if I can take the fears that I have and can push past them to get to what I want because the only person that can push me to do something...is me. I tell myself at work that I should take it one thing at a time and really that works for like an hour because I'm a multi-tasker.

So now that that is out of my system...or not, we can move on!

Oh! I did see Suicide Squad with the brood on Saturday and I don't care what anyone says I loved it. DC still had some randomly placed things...like the plot, but the ensemble cast was worth it for me and I thought they worked well together. The critics were ruthless with the movie as they seem to be with DC but from the ones I've seen from the DC Universe, although I do like most of them for their dark side, Suicide Squad was the one I have enjoyed the most. I also enjoy that there is a Superstore right there so I could get a huge bag load of candy that I shouldn't eat, which is actually 4 bags of candy thrown into one bag and making about a five pound bag. Woooooo!

So it's a short one today so I'll leave you with this link to a Scottish man roasting DT it might make your day!

Have a great week!

Yes, I Can Be A Girly Girl.

Hellos Lovelies!

Another quick in and out for me here today!  Last week went by in a haze as business picks up. January has come to a close already and the next month begins mildly stressful and yet carefree at the same time. Trying to keep it together is always at the forefront though. More like trying to stay in control. January was full of overwhelming emotions and lots of thoughts of improvement but as this week starts again all of my thoughts are on dragging my ass out of bed to head into the pit of numbers and money. Will I let it get to me? No, but it if does I already  know that once I get home it will all melt away.

I took a stab at online shopping recently! Ok something besides books because that's all I every trust to buy but I went for it and bought shoes! My other obsession. Firts I went to just FAB because hey they looked like they had really good deals. I was pretty sure the site was Canadian but they wanted payment in USD. Have you seen our dollar???

So the shoes I would buy, not trusting that the size would be correct ( only because I had never done it before ) would cost much more in the long run so I went on the hunt. PayLess... you can't order them online here. They will tell you what store they are in but having them shipped to my house? Nope. In my growing frustration I asked Bean for advice and she told me to look at the Spring website, now I wasn't sure about that because usually when i walk into Spring I see a price tag and turn around and walk back out but I looked and right away on page 2 of the boots section were a pair that screamed at me. "You want me." was what they said and they spoke the truth. Then I saw the price - 1/2 off.

HALF OFF???? OK I'm in because you know what that means... If I find another pair that are half price I have created a 2 for 1 sale! I did have to have Bean with me when I hit the confirm payment button and I got a solid "Good job Mom!"

Oh the hunt was completed and I succeeded.

I went through the process on the Call it Spring website. I found 2 pairs that called out to me did the size thing found a pair of Khaki ankle boots little shit kickers in leather and black knee high boots. I don't care if I'm 5'11" I can add another 2-3 inches and be all leg because they are damn cute shoes! I tracked them obsessively and once I had them there was that moment of oh god what if they don't fit? What if they don't look as good as the pic? Questions, questions that all disappeared when I opened the boxes, I was in love. Yes with my shoes, in some ways I am a girly girl. After those shoes I'm a 6'2" girly girl.

I would have attached a pic but I didn't think about that until just now.

Would I go back to Spring? Yes

Would I recommend Spring? Yes

Besides that I got my reserve tickets for DEADPOOL (11 days can't wait, CAN'T WAIT!) and every time I see a Suicide Squad trailer I squeal with glee. It's going to be a huge movie year and it all begins with Deadpool. Not a bad way to start it off. My Scene card is going to get a lot of action. Even my LootCrate this month is Deadpool and the Walking Dead. I split the crate with Sese every month and even she was like "I'm not getting anything from that crate am I mom." A statement not a question.

I guess that makes me a girly girl that likes Comic books, movies, shoes and other random things.

Alright guys time to get my head in the Monday game.

Have a great week!

See Ya.

7 Deadly Possibilities For Thought

Hello Lovelies!

Well it's Friday June 9th already and this half of the year has flown by hasn't it? This weekend we're in for temps in the 30's...YAY for you sun babies. The weekend was full of people bustling around enjoying the impeccable weather and the scents of BBQ's and sunscreen rode the air.

Last week I asked a question about the 7 Deadly Sins and which one would be yours I had several people say Lust and surprisingly Gluttony.

www.betcheslovethis.com

So the definitions for the 7 Deadly Sins are as follows.

1. Greed - Wanting too much of something.

2. Gluttony - Similar to greed, but gluttony is the action of taking too much of something in.

3. Lust - The need to fulfill unspiritual desires (not just sexual desires, but this is usually what lust is associated with.)

4. Envy - Jealousy; wanting to have what someone has.

5. Sloth - Being too slow or lazy at doing something.

6. Wrath - Vindictive anger; angry revenge.

7. Pride - Being too self-satisfied

Now at first I thought that my 2 most prominent were Envy and Pride but according to this list I could be wrong.

Envy... yes I do envy those who are driven, ambitious and go for what they are after and get it without stepping all over people. Making smart choices and being proud of their accomplishments... and dancers legs, they have awesome legs!

Pride...well I'm proud of my own accomplishments and yet know I can do better, I take pride in what I do and I take pride in the raising of my kids but apparently that's not enough because I still Envy others so does one cancel the other out?

Would it not be Envy but Lust instead in the way where I always desire something more or is that more like Greed?

Gluttony...when it comes to coffee...yes...

Sloth...when it comes to laundry, dusting or dishes...hell yes...

Wrath...less lesser of my own evils but it's there...quietly resting until I need to lash out. Building and building until patience runs out. Tick, tick, tick...

It seems to me like there is a fine line and how does anyone not have at least one of these or all of them? Some are not necessarily bad things I guess it varies on the degree of it all really!

Just a little somethin somethin to think about as your week goes by!

Have a great week!
See Ya,

Ripped From The Pages of...

BuzzFeed!

You have to love these guys! When I watch them on You Tube they make me laugh so hard all of the time,  so it's only fitting that this list or Weird Facts comes from them and you know other sources but you get it!

The original list contained 42 weird random facts so I only took the ones that I pretty much had smart ass comments for so let the games begin...

1) The longest time between 2 twins being born is 87 days... 87 DAYS? Um that's around 3 months! 3 months! My kids were both 3 weeks late and that was enough I couldn't handle delivering 1 and having the other stay there for another 2 1/2 - 3 months. Since the first one was born 4 months premature it's not like mom had to spend extra time being pregnant but it's like a prequel of what's to come. So despite being 4 months premature the baby survived and now as twins with distinctly different birthdays can they still be called twins?
    2) The world's deepest postbox is in Susami Bay in Japan - Officially recognized as a mail collection point of the local postal system, 1,000 to 1,500 pieces of mail are dropped into the box each year.  For use by divers who buy water-resistant postcards. Ummm I've got nothing here.

    3) The oldest condoms ever found date back to the 1640's and were made from animal and fish intestines - Do you notice how they don't say what animals? How big are fish intestines really? Although we don't know what kind of fish I guess it's safe to say that they weren't sitting there stitching tiny little membranes together. Let's look that up...OK so I've found that there is conflicting reports of where the oldest condom was found but I did find this - The instructions recommend washing the condom in warm milk to stop from catching a disease.
Warm milk? Is there something I'm missing here? At least they had some instruction with how to take care of their reusable condoms.

    4) Everyone has a unique tongue print, just like finger prints - So... I think it's safe to say that no one will be identified by their taste-buds because, that would just be weird.

    5) Casu Marzu is a Sardinian Cheese that contains live...Maggots ( I threw up a little bit in my mouth there ) The maggots can jump up to five inches out of the cheese while your eating it, so it's a good idea to use your hand to shield your eyes - OK wait...my family knows that as far as insects and bugs go, I'm not scared of many unless they are in large numbers but maggots are my Kryptonite. I mean standing on a chair like a mouse ran under it not screaming but retching. I can't even take out the green waste and put it in the bin unless it's dark outside. To know that there is cheese out there that not only CONTAINS them but that they can JUMP 5 INCHES and possibly end up in your eyes ( I have eye issues too) has my skin crawling even as I write this....GROSS.

    6) The Northern Leopard Frog uses it's eyes to swallow it's prey by using them to push the food down it's throat by retracting them back into it's head- all right now my eye issues get a chance to be recognized. HOW CREEPY IS THAT! Little buggers are kind of cute though.
You are not getting a pic of the cheese...it will never happen because I could throw up all over my keyboard in the process and that would be sad.

    7) Romans used to clean and whiten their teeth with urine and apparently it works - Ok so I've heard that urine also works for foot fungus, and we all know the jellyfish thing but did you also now that it was used for infections of the anus? Scorpion stings? Stale urine could be used to cure baby bum rash? Isn't stale urine what caused that rash in the first place? Drinking your own warm urine could help a sore throat? Until now I had no idea how many uses there have been for urine...I look at peeing in a whole new way now...

Someone should pee on the cheese ( shudder )

    Have a good weekend!

5 Weird Things I Will Never Unsee

    Hi Guys!

As I was perusing the weird news yesterday and came across some other weird stuff instead! Like this...

I don't know where Radiant Farms is but if they have Unicorns I want to go there...before they are turned into a Spam like product for consumption by HORRIBLE PEOPLE THAT EAT UNICORNS!

I'm confused...so this is just to make it "look" like you have abs by creating a pattern across your fat? Not only does that look stupid but it looks uncomfortable and come on ladies we want fake abs as much as men want fake boobs...oh wait they don't care about that.

Ok I don't even know what this is but it makes me laugh every time I see it because she looks either REALLY surprised or like she's impersonating a blow up doll. Either way every time I look at it I giggle.

And this must go with the above. Every teenager needs this in their getting ready for love kit because ya...this is normal...and...creepy.

OMG Picnic Pants!!!!! It's like a revamped idea of what to do with all of those left over MC Hammer pants! They made them useful, kind of. It would have been better if they put a place setting on them to demonstrate the convenience of a picnic in your pants...wait on your pants.

Today was just a random day with random weird things that I will never unsee.

If you find any send them my way and we'll see what we can turn this into!

    See Ya!
